SBCAL 2022 Compensation Study Report
Back in 2017, SBCAL conducted a compensation study for associational leaders. For the past five years, the information from that study has been a tremendous resource for AMS search teams, associational Personnel Committees, and Finance Committees as they seek to properly compensate and provide benefits to their associational leaders.
However, much has changed since then, including AMS salaries, benefits, and budgets. That’s why SBCAL is pleased to share the results of an updated AMS Compensation Study coordinated by Jason Lowe, AMS, Pike Association, Pikeville, KY. The PDF available for download below includes the results of this new study, conducted February-March 2022. The report dives into the specifics of comparable annual gross salaries, benefits provided, and total compensation packages. You’ll also find instructions for AMS Search Teams, Personnel Committees, and Finance Committees on how to calculate a comparable compensation package based upon work status, association size, and annual budget.
